Illness

Pupils should not attend school if they are really unwell. Minor sniffles or specific issues requiring medication are fine. 

All instances of upset stomach require a 48hr gap before returning. 

If a child tests positive for COVID, they are advised to be absent from school for three days after the day of the test.

Communication with school

Communication between home and school is a cornerstone of a child’s education. We work hard to establish and maintain close partnership with parents and families. Here we explain how to prioritise home school communication for Spring 2022.


The School Day 0840-1515

Staff and parents should always seek to speak in person or on the telephone during working hours. Email should only be used for sharing information that does not require a response.


The Working Day 0800-0840 + 1515-1800

Please note that staff will not routinely check emails outside of the working day.
